Your representation begins with a personal interview with Kathleen to discuss your injuries, the facts of your case and review of your medical records. If you do not have your records, Kathleen will order complete and certified copies. Slip and Fall Accidents
If you have a slip and fall accident, you may only have 90 days to file a claim. Estates / Probate / Wills
Kathleen has valued and settled estates for clients following the death of a loved one who has made a Will (Testate) or has not made a Will (Intestate). She prepares and files documents for Probate of Wills and to obtain Letters Testamentary for clients appointed Executor of an estate by the Deceased in their Will. Kathleen also prepares and files applications for clients to be appointed Administrator of an estate because the Deceased did not make a Will, yet has an estate that needs to be settled.
In the healthcare setting, Kathleen educates clients about the documents needed to protect their or their loved one’s rights if they are hospitalized or are in crisis. She prepares Advance Directives or “Living Wills” and appointments of Healthcare Proxy. Kathleen also prepares Power of Attorney documents and Last Will and Testaments for clients. As an experienced frontline health professional and family caregiver for both of her parents, Kathleen knows first hand, the importance of having estate planning documents in order before you or your loved ones require in-patient/ hospital care or are in crisis. Kathleen provides clients and their loved ones with confidence and comfort in knowing that their estate planning and healthcare decisions are informed and will be carried out according to their wishes.
Divorce / Divorce Mediation / Fathers’ Rights
The traditional divorce process can be expensive, overwhelming, and upsetting to both spouses and their families. Kathleen charges no fees for attorney-client phone calls, e-Mails or text messages. Representation is provided for No -Fault and Uncontested Divorce, Child Support and Parenting Time, Modication of Child Support and Alimony. Fathers’ Rights to equitable parenting time and equitable marital property settlements are respected and represented.
Mediation is also offered, as an alternative to traditional Divorce, Child Support and Alimony litigation. Divorce mediation provides a fair opportunity for both spouses to present their issues and discuss custody matters in a comfortable environment for a fair, cost-effective and speedy process.

Kathleen has also been a practicing Registered Nurse in New Jersey and New York for over 25 years. Her vast and diverse nursing experience in conjunction with her legal expertise provides nurses who are facing disciplinary charges with the New Jersey or New York Boards of Nursing with their best defense to avoid loss of their license.
